Compare CRM: Zoho CRM, HubSpot and Salesforce

You want to choose a CRM and cannot decide between Zoho CRM, HubSpot and Salesforce. Here you see side by side how the editions are built and where to find the prices. We are a Zoho partner. We say so up front, so you know where we are writing from.

    Method

    How we compare

We set up Zoho CRM and Bigin. We do not set up HubSpot or Salesforce. That is why we limit ourselves to what the vendors say on their own websites, and we name the source each time. We do not give a verdict on which package is best. That depends on your team, your process and your budget.

Three questions help with any comparison: how many people will work in it, which processes must go in and which other programs must work with it. Once you have those answers, a table becomes much easier to read. What a CRM actually is, you can read in CRM software for SMEs.

Also ask each vendor how long a subscription runs, how you cancel and what happens to your data when you do. You build up a CRM with years of customer history, so the way out matters as much as the way in.

    Two packages

    Zoho vs HubSpot

Anyone searching Zoho vs HubSpot is usually comparing two packages that start free and continue with paid editions. Both vendors state on their own pricing pages that a small team can start free: Zoho for up to 3 users, HubSpot for up to 2.

The difference lies mostly in what comes around the CRM. Zoho CRM is part of a suite of 24 apps, including mail, projects and customer service, which you take separately or as Zoho One. If that broad suite fits how you work, that is a reason for Zoho. What HubSpot offers around its CRM, you can read on HubSpot's own site.

    Switching

    HubSpot alternative or Salesforce alternative?

If you are looking for a HubSpot alternative or a Salesforce alternative, first think about why. Do costs rise with more users? Do you miss a feature? Or is the package bigger than your team uses? Zoho CRM can be an answer. Whether it is a better answer differs per team and per edition, so we do not claim that.

What we do is lay your current use next to Zoho CRM and say honestly what is missing or surplus. If you then choose Zoho, we bring contacts, companies and deals across and check them with you. What can come along depends on what you can export from your current system.

Switching takes time, and the difference between two packages is often smaller than the difference between a CRM your team uses and a CRM it ignores. So also weigh how well the new package fits the way your team works.

    Prices

Prices: check with the vendor itself

We state no amounts on this page. The pricing pages of the three vendors show amounts that differ per country and currency, and that change. So use the pages themselves. For each amount, check whether the vendor quotes it including or excluding VAT.

Pages of the vendors themselves, read on 4 November 2026. We state no amounts.

    Choosing

    How to choose

Four steps that work with any vendor:

    • Count the users

Count the people who work in it daily, not everyone who sometimes wants to look.

    • Put your process on paper

Write down the stages of your sales process. A CRM that cannot record these stages drops out.

    • Look at what comes around it

Mail, projects and customer service together matter more than one feature you miss today. Which KPI you want to follow also decides which reports you need.

    • Test with your own data

Let the candidates run a trial with real contacts and deals, and ask your team what feels good to work with.

    Further

What a CRM can do with other programs

Whether a CRM works well with your mail, your website or your ERP often depends on its API and on what the vendor offers as standard. Ask that for each program, and include it in your SaaS choice. We go through it with you in the intake.
